I'm a 37 year old software engineer living in Dublin, Ireland, about 3 ½ miles south-west of Dublin City Centre. I started developing software in my mid-teens and have been developing software commercially since 1994.
I discovered Turbo Pascal in 1989 before I finished secondary school, and since it was the first "proper" language I learned - I have always had a fondness for the syntax, and Delphi has allowed me to continue this.
I'm spending a lot of time with VS2008, C# and WPF these days, but still have a couple of interesting Delphi projects either in progress or under planning, including v2 of my OPF/ORM and some interesting 2D graphics work.

I can string HTML and CSS together with some success and have a pretty keen eye for design. Having said that the template behind this site is far nicer than anything I could have done and is a free template kindly supplied by Andreas Viklund.
